QuaCell® CHO LeAd Medium provides rich nutritional components for high-density proliferation of Chinese hamster ovary cells (CHO cells). This product is a serum-free, animal component-free chemically defined medium designed for suspension culture of CHO cells to express antibodies and protein products. The medium formulation does not contain hypoxanthine, thymidine, and L-glutamine, making it suitable for dihydrofolate reductase and glutamine synthetase (GS) screening systems.
The project cells are CHO-K1Q cells, and CHO LeAd Medium+Feed04 is compared with other commercial culture media and supplements (2 imported and 3 domestic).
The results show that the LeAd Medium+Feed04 combination exhibits significantly higher expression levels compared to the control group, with quality data slightly higher than the imported culture media combination.
