The LeSiever™hydrophobic PES capsule air filter offers excellent air permeability and hydrophobicity, providing a good sterile environment for cell culture. Compared to PTFE, it is also resistant to gamma irradiation. Therefore, in air sterilization applications, it is the recommended membrane material for components that require irradiation sterilization, such as breathers in single-use systems.
